20.1 Limits on Deletion

A deletion request does not always require every record to be deleted immediately.

FOURDESINNO may retain limited information where necessary to:

• comply with law;
• maintain accounting records;
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
• prevent repeated fraud;
• prevent unauthorized access;
• protect system security;
• maintain opt-out records;
• resolve disputes; or
• complete an investigation.

Retained information will be limited where reasonably possible to what is necessary for the relevant purpose.

21. Automated Access and Licence Validation

The FOURDESINNO website, API, and Blender add-on may automatically process:

• API-code information;
• access-key information;
• email addresses;
• IP addresses;
• licence status;
• account status;
• device information;
• installation information;
• subscription status;
• Patreon entitlement information;
• download activity;
• request frequency;
• validation history; and
• security information.

Automated systems may determine whether:

• an API code is valid;
• an access key is valid;
• a licence is enabled;
• an account is enabled;
• a subscription is active;
• a Patreon entitlement is active;
• a user may access a feature;
• a user may access a download;
• an installation limit has been reached;
• a code appears to be shared;
• an unusual number of requests has occurred;
• an IP address presents a security risk;
• activity appears automated;
• activity appears fraudulent; or
• activity appears abusive.

An automated check may:

• allow access;
• restrict access;
• temporarily block access;
• suspend a code;
• disable a code;
• deny a download;
• deny API access; or
• require manual review.

These checks are used to:

• provide the licensed service;
• administer permissions;
• enforce restrictions;
• prevent unauthorized sharing;
• protect digital assets; and
• secure FOURDESINNO infrastructure.

FOURDESINNO does not currently use personal data to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

22. Password Resets and Account Security

When you request a password reset, FOURDESINNO may process or record:

This statement does not remove FOURDESINNO’s obligations to implement appropriate security measures or respond to incidents according to applicable law.

24. Data-Breach Procedures

If FOURDESINNO becomes aware of a suspected personal-data breach, FOURDESINNO will take reasonable steps to:

• investigate the incident;
• determine what happened;
• identify affected systems;
• identify affected information;
• contain the incident;
• reduce potential harm;
• secure affected systems;
• restore services;
• preserve relevant evidence; and
• improve safeguards where appropriate.

Where legally required, FOURDESINNO will notify the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay and within the legally applicable period.

Where a breach is likely to create a high risk to affected individuals, FOURDESINNO will notify those individuals where required by law.

FOURDESINNO will maintain internal documentation of personal-data breaches as required.

25. Third-Party Services

FOURDESINNO relies on third parties including:

• Zone.ee;
• Dropbox;
• Google;
• Patreon;
• email providers;
• security providers;
• infrastructure providers; and
• other technical service providers.

FOURDESINNO does not control every aspect of an independent third party’s systems or processing.

To the extent permitted by law, FOURDESINNO is not responsible for:

• an independent third party’s privacy practices;
• changes made by a third party;
• third-party service interruptions;
• third-party outages;
• external website content;
• payment processing performed by third parties;
• third-party account suspensions;
• the security of information submitted directly to a third party;
• external tracking outside FOURDESINNO-controlled services; or
• damage caused solely by the independent acts or failures of a third party.

Third-party providers remain responsible for their own legal obligations.

Nothing in this section removes FOURDESINNO’s responsibility for processing activities controlled by FOURDESINNO or obligations that cannot legally be excluded.

26. Service Availability and Limitation of Responsibility

FOURDESINNO takes reasonable steps to maintain:

• fourdesinno.com;
• the FOURDESINNO Blender add-on;
• FOURDESINNO APIs;
• API-code validation;
• protected downloads;
• digital assets; and
• related services.

Services may occasionally be affected by:

• planned maintenance;
• emergency maintenance;
• software bugs;
• security incidents;
• internet failures;
• hosting failures;
• database failures;
• API interruptions;
• Dropbox interruptions;
• Patreon interruptions;
• Google interruptions;
• Blender changes;
• WordPress changes;
• plugin conflicts;
• operating-system changes;
• incompatible software;
• corrupted local files;
• user modifications; or
• circumstances outside FOURDESINNO’s reasonable control.

FOURDESINNO does not guarantee that every service will always be:

• uninterrupted;
• error-free;
• completely secure;
• compatible with every device;
• compatible with every Blender version;
• compatible with every WordPress configuration; or
• permanently available.

Users are responsible for:

• protecting passwords and API codes;
• not sharing protected access;
• maintaining backups of their work;
• using supported software versions;
• following installation instructions;
• testing add-ons and assets before critical use;
• protecting their own devices;
• maintaining secure systems; and
• complying with applicable licences and laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FOURDESINNO is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss caused by:

• improper installation;
• unsupported modification;
• unauthorized credential sharing;
• failure to maintain backups;
• incompatible third-party software;
• external service interruptions;
• user error;
• use contrary to instructions; or
• circumstances outside FOURDESINNO’s reasonable control.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy:

• limits rights under the GDPR;
• removes FOURDESINNO’s data-controller obligations;
• excludes liability for intentional misconduct;
• excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded;
• removes mandatory consumer rights;
• prevents a user from exercising data-protection rights; or
• prevents a complaint to a competent authority.

Purchase conditions, licence restrictions, warranties, refunds, digital-content rules, acceptable use, and broader liability conditions should be addressed in separate FOURDESINNO Terms of Use or a software licence agreement.

27. Children’s Privacy

FOURDESINNO services are not intentionally directed to children below the age at which they may independently consent to online data processing under applicable law.

FOURDESINNO does not knowingly collect personal data from children without required authorization.
